Treffen volunteers needed

As you may know, the Milwaukee and Fox Valley PCA regions will be hosting the 2021 PCA Fall Treffen at The American Club in Kohler, Wis., from Oct. 13-17, 2021. This is a tremendous honor and privilege to showcase what our state has to offer to the rest of PCA.

We have formed a Treffen Planning team, made up of members of both regions that will work with the PCA National Treffen Staff to help plan the event. Jim Janes, Fox Valley Region Treasurer, is the Region Treffen Chair and I am one of two volunteer recruiters. This event will require many volunteers to create a five-star experience. A minimum of approximately 50-60 volunteers will be needed from our combined two regions. Many of you have already contacted Al Wagner or me with an offer to help and we have documented those inquiries.

Here are some of the areas where we will need volunteers. Time slots will be created based on the numbers of volunteers.

  • Registration (Wednesday)
  • Information Desk (Wednesday-Saturday)
  • Tour Departure Area (TBD)
  • Tour Participation / Lead-Mid-Sweeps (Two days TBD)

If you think you would like to volunteer in some capacity and have not contacted anyone, please reach out me and I can provide additional information. I know October 2021 seems like a long way off, but it will go by fast and we want you to be part of this exciting event.
