What's autocross? It's a safe, performance-handling experience in which participants learn how to quickly maneuver one's car around a course marked by pylons in an open parking lot. Instructors are available to teach the finer points of this low-speed event. Drivers compete against the clock, with one to three drivers on the course at any one time. Cars are kept a safe distance from each other. No modifications are necessary to one's car to compete.
2008 schedule
For 2008, you will have the opportunity to compete for awards in two (2) autocross series – The Milwaukee PCA Series and Milwaukee/Chicago/Central Wisconsin Combined Series.Miller Park has been Milwaukee region’s long-term venue for autocross competition and for 2008 it remains our primary venue. The first 2008 autocross in the Miller Park East Parking Lot will be Sunday, May 18. The May 18, 2008, event at Miller Park will also be the first multi-region combined event, so participants pick up points for both series.
The scoring for awards in the series will be different. The Milwaukee region scoring will remain indexed as in the past, but the multi-region series will have several classes with no indexing catering more towards well prepared cars and drivers.
The cost for all PCA members in both series is the same - $35.00/event.

7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Course set up. Come early if you can and help us set up the course.
9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Registration and car tech
10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Walk the course
10:30 a.m. Driver’s meeting
11 a.m. First car out
Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008 – Miller Park
Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008 – Miller Park
8 a.m. – 10 a.m. – Course Set-Up
9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Registration/Car Tech
10:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Walk the Course
11 a.m. - Driver’s Meeting
11:30 a.m. - First Car Out
All drivers get three (3) practice and six (6) timed runs. Awards following last run of the day.

Requirements
- Helmets: (Snell 2000, 2000 M or SA-rated). Drivers under 18 must see www.pca.org for additional rules and liability waivers.
- Valid driver's license (16 years or older).

Checklist
In addition to your helmet and driver's license, make sure your brake lights are working, battery is securely mounted, seat belts are in good condition, lug nuts and bolts are properly torqued and vehicle is empty of loose items, such as floor mats, etc.
Awards: Accumulate points throughout the season. Trophies are awarded at the end of the year.
