New details about Sept. 21 food drive

The Sept. 21 food drive to benefit Hunger Task Force has been updated.

Participants should arrive with their donations at Miller Park in the parking area near TGI-Friday’s restaurant between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21.

After everyone is registered, we will parade over together to the Hunger Task Force location where we will line up to unload and have our donations weighed ( for the Raffle Ticket contest).
We will proceed inside the HTF building to take a tour and help sort our donations.
The winners of the Raffle Contest will be announced.
Whoever wants to join us for lunch will drive back over to TGI-Friday’s.

Note: HTF has asked for the following type of donations - Canned fruit and vegetables, canned meat and fish, and peanut butter (all heavy things!)

Raffle winners for most weight of donations in one car, one winner each for 2 door and 4 door vehicles.
