Parade Phase 2 registration issues

If you encountered a problem with registering your co-member when completing the registration process for the 2021 Parade, please take note.

According to Zone Rep Mark Roethemeier, PCA’s software was not able to validate the co-member's membership number which stopped the registration process from moving forward. Some members used a work-around and registered their co-member as a "guest" leaving the co-member blank. This seemed to work as it allowed the registration to continue. Within 10-15 minutes after this problem was discovered the software was corrected and normal registration continued. The only issue for those that chose the "guest" option is that there was an additional charge for the "guest." Some have tried to update/edit their registration after the fact to list their co-member. When doing this the guest data and events were lost and when the guest was removed, the events were deleted. When trying to add the co-member, and where the event was already full which many are, the best that could be done was to register for the event but then be wait-listed.

Mark suggests that members who used the "Guest" signup should contact the Registrar Kathleen Behrens. Send your info via email to registrar@paradereg.pca.org.

Questions or concerns should be addressed to the registrar via the email noted.
