July 19 Drive to Elkhart Lake for street Concours de Elegance and optional dinner
The WeatherTech Vintage weekend with Brian Redman is July 17-20 at Road America. On Saturday evening, July 19, the streets of Elkhart Lake will be filled with sports cars competing in a concours d'elegance. Our region traditionally has done a follow-the-leader tour to Elkhart where we enjoy an early dinner at an area restaurant prior to taking in the display of cars.
Following dinner we are free to roam the streets to check out an amazing display of cars. The concours runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Drive home on your own schedule.
The dinner is optional. If you don't want to have dinner with the group you are free to check out the concours and head home when you like.
To RSVP for the tour send an email to Tours Chairman Jim Lindenberg: tours@porschepark.org. In your email provide your name and the name of your passenger (if any) and also if you want to join the group for dinner.
Jim will then respond to confirm your participation and inform you of the fee to reserve your seat at dinner. This fee will be returned to you at the event and you can use it to pay for a portion of your meal bill. He will also inform you of the starting point for the driving tour.
You must RSVP even if you just want to do the drive and not join the group for dinner.
This event fills up fast so if you want to attend, RSVP without delay.
