Our region or club name is Milwaukee. Not Steinlifters which is the newsletter name
In 1960 when PCA designated Milwaukee as a standalone region, the name was Milwaukee. It still is. Really.
It is not Steinlifters. That's the name of the monthly newsletter.
Milwaukee isn't the only region named for the city or area. Of the 148 regions across North America, many are named for a city or area such as:
Chicago
Southern Indiana
Central Wisconsin
Delaware
Central Pennsylvania
San Diego
Santa Barbara
Las Vegas
Southern Arizona...and many more.
