PCA: Milwaukee

The photo below graced the cover of the cover of the April 1983 Issue of Porsche Panorama.
Here’s the challenge to Milwaukee Region members interested in photography:  Take a photo of your Porsche that best replicates the scene in this image from Panorama.

Here are the rules:  

•    The photo must be taken and submitted by a member in good standing of the Milwaukee Region
•    Only one photo may be submitted per member family
•    The photo must be taken within the borders of our region
•    The ethnicity of the neon signage will not be a factor
•    The photo may be lightly enhanced, but not Photoshopped
•    The year, model, and color of your Porsche will not be a factor
•    The orientation of the photo must be vertical (portrait format)
•    No AI-generated photos are allowed
•    The contest begins now; the deadline for photo submittal is September 1, 2026
•    Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place photos
•    Judging will be accomplished by the Milwaukee Region board of directors; their decision is final.  Judges may not enter the contest
•    The judging will be done blind; the judges will not know who submitted the photos
•    The three winning photos will grace the front or back covers of Steinlifters over the next several issues, as determined by the editor
•    The member submitting the 1st Place photo will win a $100 gift certificate for the PCA National Webstore
•    The member submitting the 2nd Place photo will win a $75 gift certificate for the PCA National Webstore
•    The member submitting the 3rd Place photo will win a $50 gift certificate for the PCA National Webstore

Please submit photos (.jpg only--no heic, no pdf) via email to Steinlifters editor, Beverly Jurkowski, at the following address: newsletter@porschepark.org

Please provide the following information with your photo submittal:

•    Your name, PCA Member Number, email address, and phone number
•    The address of the nearest building in your photo
•    Optional: Camera settings (focal length, f-stop, shutter speed, ISO)
